Transportation
Access to the San Rafael Swell is primarily via I-70. Several exits provide access to different parts of the Swell. For example, the Temple Mountain Road exit leads to the Goblin Valley State Park area, while the Buckhorn Draw Road exit provides access to the northern part of the Swell. Many roads within the Swell are unpaved and require a high-clearance vehicle, especially after rain. Always check road conditions before venturing into the Swell.
